Crafted by artisans at WILDSWANS’ Ibaraki studio, this piece reflects meticulous attention to both structure and design. It maintains the same size as the brand’s signature TONGUE model while increasing storage capacity, offering versatile customization.
Regarding the PONT’s structure, let’s take a closer look at its interior. The exterior is wrapped in a single piece of leather and the flap features the brand’s signature curved shape. Compared to previous models, the corners are slightly less rounded, and the central curve is designed to be closer to a straight line.
The front compartment measures approximately 25mm in width. It can comfortably hold many cards, like credit cards, cash, and coins at once. However, if you carry a lot of coins, slightly reducing the number of other items will allow for smoother opening and closing. PONT already offers a superior capacity to any other product.
The next compartment without gussets is ideal for storing cards or emergency bills. Both compartments feature a slight curve at the entrance, a signature WILDSWANS detail, and the non-gusseted compartment is designed for easy access. The fastest way to get there is to enhance its beauty.
The storage space, crafted with a larger gusset than other mini wallets, is PONT’s most excellent appeal. Its wide opening enhances visibility, making it primarily suited for coin storage, though it can also hold several cards.
To maximize capacity, the bottom is left unstitched, keeping the gusset-free storage part slightly raised. This allows bills to be inserted into the gap beneath the part. While some wallets on the market allow unfolding bills, you can fold your bills in half for storage in this PONT wallet, too. It comfortably holds multiple bills.
